Spicy Pecans
Ingredients
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Ground Cinnamon - 2 tsp.
- Salt - 1-1/4 tsp.
- Nutmeg - 1 tsp.
- Ground Cloves - 1/2 tsp.
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Pecan Halves - 4 cups
Instructions
Combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, cloves and water in a deep 3 quart casserole. Cover with wax paper. Microwave on high for four minutes. Stir well. Microwave on high 2-1/2 to 4-1/2 minutes more or until mixture reaches soft ball candy stage. Add pecans and stir until well coated. Spread pecans on wax paper and separate with fork. Cool completely.
