Christmas Sugar Plums
Ingredients
- Mini Marshmallows
- Warm Milk
- Colored Sugar
- Rice Krispies Treats
- Rice Krispies Treats Recipes
- Margarine - 1/4 cup
- Marshmallows - 10 oz.
- Rice Krispies Cereal - 5 cups
Instructions
Dip mini marshmallows in warm milk and then roll in colored sugar.
Make Rice Krispies Treats.
Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and well blended. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated. Either make ball shapes for tree, or press mixture evenly into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cool completely.
While still warm, shape treats into several balls. Form balls into a tree shape. Add sugar plums in crevices here and there to act like tree decorations. Top tree with 3 mini candy canes tied together with a bow.
