Butter Cookies by Debbie
Ingredients
- Butter - 1-1/2 lbs.
- Sugar - 2-1/2 cups
- Eggs - 2
- Vanilla Extract - 1 Tbs
- Flour - 7 cups
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar together: add eggs and vanilla. Mix well; gradually add 7 cups flour. Divide dough into a few large balls. Chill. Roll out dough, use cookie cutters. Bake at 350° until golden brown. Makes 5 pounds of cookies. Add Butter Cookie Glaze or Butter Cookie Paint for the perfect design and a little extra sweetness.
