Swiss Steak
Ingredients
- Boneless Chuck Steak - 2 lbs. cut into strips
- Oil - 2 tsp.
- Del Monte Tomato Sauce - 1 small can
- Onion Soup - 1 envelope
- Burgundy Wine - 3/4 cup
- Rice - substitute for noodles
- Noodles - substitute for rice
Instructions
Brown beef strips in oil and set aside in fry pan. In separate bowl mix together tomato sauce, onion soup and burgundy wine until blended well. Pour over browned beef strips. Cover and simmer for one and one half hour. Cook rice or noodles according to package directions. Pour beef mixture over rice or noodles and serve.
