Red Sauce Stew
Ingredients
- Stew Meat - 2 lbs.
- Medium Onion - 1, chopped
- Large Potato - 2, peeled, cut up
- Carrots - 3, cut up
- Del Monte Tomato Sauce - 2 large cans
- Water - 2 tomato sauce cans
- Salt - to taste
- Black Pepper - to taste
- Frozen Whole Green Beans - small bag or box
Instructions
Just cover bottom of pot with oil. Brown stew meat. Then add onions, cook until translucent. Add 2 large cans tomato sauce with 2 cans water to meat and onions, then add potatoes and carrots. Salt and pepper to taste. You may need to add a little more water. Cook 1 hour and 15 minutes. Then add string beans to stew and cook 15-20 minutes more.
