Noodles and Cabbage
Ingredients
- Cabbage - 1 large head
- Onion - 6-7 sliced thin
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves, chopped
- Butter - 1/4-1/2 lb.
- Goodman Egg Noodles - 1 lb. medium size
Instructions
Quarter and cut out center of cabbage. Slice each quarter into 1/4" slices. Salt and pepper to taste. In a large deep fry pan, saute thinly sliced onions in the butter until nearly browned. Chop 2-3 cloves garlic and then fry with onions. Add cabbage to onions and fry together, covered, until soft, not too mushy. In large pot cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain egg noodles. Add egg noodles to cabbage mixture and toss well. Place all into baking pan. Bake 350°, turning as heating for about 20 minutes. Serve.
