Overnight Toss
Ingredients
- Lettuce - 1 head shredded
- Celery - 5 stalks chopped
- Green Pepper - 1-1/2 pepper chopped
- Small Red Onion - 1 chopped
- Frozen peas - 10 oz defrosted and drained
- Mayonnaise - 1 pint
- Sugar - 1 Tbs
- Parmesan Cheese - to taste
- Bacon - 8 strips cooked and crumbled
Instructions
In a glass bowl place layers in this order; shredded lettuce, celery, green pepper, red onion and peas. Then spread 1 pint mayonnaise over peas. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese to taste over that. Cover, refrigerate overnight. Just before serving sprinkle the crumbled bacon over top.
