Chinese Salad
Ingredients
- Watercress - 1 bunch cleaned and trimmed
- Scallions - 1/2 cup cut in 1" long slices
- Canned Sliced Water Chestnuts - 1 can
- Bean Sprouts - 1/4 lb
- Snow Peas - 1/4 lb
- Romaine Lettuce - cut up very small
- Corn Oil - 7 Tbs
- Rice Wine Vinegar - 3 Tbs
- Soy Sauce - 1 Tbs
- Sesame Oil - 1/2 Tbs
- Fresh Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Instructions
Dressing: Mix in shaker jar 7 tablespoons corn oil, 3 tablespoons rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil and pepper to taste. Shake until mixed well. Place watercress, scallions, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, snow peas and romaine in large bowl and mix.
