Apple Pie
Ingredients
- Butter - 2 sticks, softened
- Warm Water - 1/4 c
- Flour - 2 c
- Apples - 6, peeled and sliced
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
Instructions
Cream and whip butter and warm water together, gradually add 2 cups flour. Roll out dough between wax paper, into 9 inch rounds. Makes 2 crusts, top and bottom. Place dough round into 9 inch pan. Peel and slice 6 apples. In bowl mix, together approximately two tablespoons sugar with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, should look light brown. Mix apples with sugar and cinnamon mixture, enough to generously coat all apple slices. Pour into pie crust. Cover top of apple mixture with second crust. Pinch top and bottom crusts together. Slit top crust, brush with milk and top with dabs of butter around crust and in center. Bake at 350° and brown ten minutes longer.
