Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- Flour - 1-3/4 cups
- Baking Powder - 1/2 tsp.
- Butter - 2 sticks, softened
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Small Egg - 1, well beaten
- Vanilla Extract - 1/2 tsp.
Instructions
Cream butter until fluffy. Add 1/2 cup sugar, continue creaming until well mixed. Add well beaten egg and vanilla extract. In separate bowl sift flour and baking powder together. Gradually add to creamed butter mixture. Chill dough slightly. Roll out dough, cut dough with cookie cutters. Gake at 350° for 5 to 8 minutes.
