Snicker Doodles
Ingredients
- Butter - 1 cup, softened
- Sugar - 1-1/2 cups
- Eggs - 2
- Flour - 2-3/4 cups
- Cream of Tartar - 2 tsp.
- Baking Soda - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1/4 tsp.
Instructions
Cream together 1 cup softened butter, sugar and eggs until well blended. In separate bowl mix together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Add dry ingredients to creamed butter mixture. Mix well, mushy texture is ok. Make into small balls. Roll balls in a sugar and cinnamon mixture. Approximately 1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
