Anisette Biscotti
Ingredients
- Flour - 3 cups
- Eggs - 3
- Baking Powder - 3 tsp.
- Butter - 1 stick
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Anisette Flavoring - 2 tsp. (if using anise oil use much less)
- Vanilla Extract - 2 tsp.
Instructions
Cream butter, eggs and then sugar together. Then add flavorings. Mix well. In separate bowl mix flour and baking powder ogether. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture. Mix well. Press dough into ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not get too browned. Remove from oven. Slice into cookie strips. PLace slices on side on ungreased cookie sheet and brown in 350° oven, bake until just a light brown.
