Sweet and Sour Chicken
Ingredients
- Boneless Chicken - 3/4 lb., cubed
- Oil - 1 Tbs.
- Green Peppers - 1/2 cup, cut into strips
- Red Pepper - 1/2 cup, cut into strips
- Cornstarch - 1 Tbs.
- Lite Soy Sauce - 1/4 cup
- Pineapple Chunks - 8 oz. can with juice
- Vinegar - 3 Tbs.
- Brown Sugar - 3 Tbs.
- Ground Ginger - 1/2 tsp.
- Garlic Powder - 1/2 tsp.
- Minute Brown Rice - 1-1/2 cups
Instructions
Cook and stir chicken in hot oil in large skillet until well browned. Add peppers; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes. Mix cornstarch and soy sauce. Add to pan with pineapple and juice, vinegar, brown sugar, ginger and garlic powder. Bring to a full boil. Meanwhile, prepare rice as directed on package. Serve chicken over rice.
