Mix all ingredients together until it no longer sticks to fingers. Roll out pieces on floured board into a little thicker than pencil size sticks. The cut 1/2 inch pieces. Deep fry pieces in hot oil. Remove with slotted spoon when golden. Drain on paper towels. Store in covered container. Just before serving, warm a small amount of honey, pour over balls and stir until well coated. Sprinkle with colored nonpareil decors if desired.
