Baked Virginia Ham
Ingredients
- Can Ham - 5 lb.
- Brown Sugar - 1 cup
- Dry Mustard - 2 tsp.
- White Vinegar
- Whole Cloves - 10
Instructions
In small bowl, add brown sugar and dry mustard; mix well. slowly add white vinegar just enough to make a paste. Score top of ham on a diagonal to make diamond shape cuts. Place cloves in several cross spots on top of ham. Pour paste on top of ham. Bake at 375° for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Basting with pastry brush, the dripping brown sugar mixture on top of ham several times during the baking time.
