Almond Pound Cake
Ingredients
- Flour - 3 cups
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Baking Powder - 3 tsp.
- Butter - 2 sticks, softened
- Eggs - 4
- Milk - 1 cup
- Almond Extract - 3 tsp.
Instructions
In a bowl mix together flour, sugar and baking powder. In a separate bowl cream butter until smooth; eat in 4 eggs, milk and almond extract, mix well. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture and mix until well blended. Grease tube or loaf pan. Bake at 375° for 1 to 1-1/2 hours. Check with a toothpick after one hour.
