Spinach Salad (Warm)
Ingredients
- Spinach Leaves
- Small Onion - 1 chopped
- Bacon - 5 slices diced
- Bacon Fat - 1/4 cup
- Vinegar - 1/4 cup
- Dry Mustard - 1 tsp.
- Garlic Salt - 1/8 tsp.
- Worcestershire Sauce - 1/2-1 tsp.
- Sugar - 1-1/2 tsp.
- Salt - 1/4 tsp.
- Black Pepper - 1/4 tsp.
- Hard-boiled Eggs - 2, chopped
Instructions
In bowl combine spinach and onions. In fry pan cook bacon; drain and reserve bacon fat. Add cooked bacon to salad bowl. Return 1/5 cup bacon fat to skillet, add vinegar, dry mustard, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Pour over dressing over salad. Sprinkle salad with chopped eggs. Serve at once.
