Chinese Style Broccoli and Baby Corn
Ingredients
- Broccoli - 1 head
- Baby Corn - 16 oz. can
- Chinese Mushrooms - 6
- Corn Oil - 1 Tbs.
- Oyster Sauce - 3 Tbs.
- Sugar - 1/2 tsp.
- Sherry - 2 tsp.
- Soy Sauce - 1 Tbs.
- Water - 1 Tbs.
- Sesame Oil - 1 tsp. dribbled on top
Instructions
Cut broccoli into one inch slices and blanch in hot water for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse and slice baby corn lengthwise in half. In small bowl whisk together oyster sauce, sugar, sherry, soy sauce and water. Brown mushrooms lightly in 1 tablespoon corn oil, add and stir fry broccoli and corn for 30 seconds. Stir in sauce mixture and cook 30 seconds more. Swirl in sesame oil and serve immediately. Do not swirl in sesame oil until ready to serve.
