Baked Big Clam
Ingredients
- Minced Clams - 4 cans w/juice
- Lemon Juice - 4 tsp.
- Onion - 1 onion chopped
- Butter - 1/2 lb.
- Oregano - 2 Tbsp.
- Parsley - 2 Tbsp.
- Hot Sauce - 1/2 tsp.
- Bread Crumbs - 1-1/2 cups
- Parmesan Cheese - 1/4 - 1/2 cup grated
Instructions
Combine clams, lemon juice, onion, butter, oregano, parsley and hot sauce (optional) in sauce pan. Cook over medium heat until butter melts. Add enough bread crumbs to make mixture consistency of oatmeal. Add cheese; place in pie plate, sprinkle with cheese. Bake 350° about 20 - 30 minutes or until bubbly. May be made up until one day before serving or may be frozen. Serve with crackers.
